Hornets Model Flying Club

Welcome to our website.

The Isle of Wight has a rich aviation heritage with which Hornets MFC is proud to be associated. 

A number of our members past and present are, or have been, involved in general aviation, flying light aircraft, gliders, balloons, micro-lights and hang gliders.  Some have worked in specific areas of the aircraft industry including vintage aircraft restoration, military aviation, and the development of aircraft, flying boats and hovercraft.

Together, with others from widely differing backgrounds, we come together to share a common interest in model flying.
